Sean Slyman
Sean has spent more than 25 years in technology and transportation, including eight focused on connected vehicles and fleet technology. A mechanical engineer by training from Iowa State University, he has built a reputation for bridging engineering, product, and executive priorities inside global OEMs and the technology companies that serve them.
He led connected services and global portfolio work at PACCAR and Navistar, where he developed predictive diagnostics, OTA update strategies, and uptime-focused service models across heavy-truck and commercial vehicle programs, aligning engineering, aftersales, and IT around the connected fleet.
He drove PLM strategies with GM and Siemens that aligned the digital thread with enterprise architecture and analytics, and pioneered early V2I and V2X initiatives that shaped how commercial vehicles talk to infrastructure and to each other on the road.
At AMA, Sean helps clients build and grow connected vehicle and fleet technology businesses. He advises on connected services strategy, PLM and IoT integration, and the full arc from product vision and SaaS growth through organizational adoption.
