Denise Barfuss
Denise is an entrepreneurial executive with more than 25 years in automotive and 10 years leading connected services execution. She has driven transformation across tech, product, marketing, operations, and customer success — data-driven, customer-focused, and known for building high-performing teams that deliver measurable impact.
At Nissan North America, she held senior roles across Connected Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, and Operations. As General Manager and Board of Advisors member at NESNA, she stood up Nissan's first risk-based service contract business with full P&L accountability; at INFINITI she led EV product development and marketing strategy.
She led global operations and go-to-market for Nissan's connected services, owning every consumer touchpoint — connected services, owner portals, mobile apps, and voice assistants — creating the connected-car customer journey and launching enterprise CRM programs across Nissan and INFINITI.
At AMA, Denise leads client engagement, making sure every project is scoped, staffed, and delivered to outcome. She has chaired and moderated dozens of industry panels, bringing operators, OEMs, and technology partners together around what it takes to ship connected products at scale.
