Chip Hanley
Chip has spent 20 years in the automotive industry spanning OEM field operations and connected vehicle subscriptions. He has run the full connected vehicle subscription lifecycle from both sides — pricing and planning programs at the OEM level, then driving adoption when they met the dealer network — coaching district, zone, and regional managers on program execution across the Subaru field organization.
At Subaru, he worked across STARLINK program sales, dealer training, field operations, and fixed operations consulting. He redesigned the payment strategy across the subscription portfolio, lifting conversion 50% in four months. Earlier, at Toyota, he built his retail foundation across district sales, service and parts, product training, and dealer operations.
He built the connected vehicle pricing and insights function from white space for a 2M+ subscriber portfolio, shaping U.S. and Japan executive decisions by pairing analysis with modeled outcomes on proactive course corrections. At TVH, he led global performance and insights for the e-commerce organization, managing analyst teams across the U.S., Belgium, and India.
At AMA, Chip works with clients on subscription pricing, packaging, trial-to-paid conversion, and renewal strategy — plus the dealer activation side that makes or breaks monetization: program sales, selling guides, menu architecture, field enablement, and incentive design.
