AMA joined the Women Automotive Network: Mexico Summit virtually for a hybrid day of leadership, electrification, and talent conversations connecting Mexico City to a global online audience.
A hybrid day in Mexico City that brought together women and allies shaping the future of the global automotive industry.
Mariestella Colón Astacio joined the Women Automotive Network: Mexico Summit virtually on December 2, 2025, broadcast from the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel in Mexico City with attendees joining live in the room and online from around the world.
Stephanie May, Director of the Women Automotive Network, opened the morning with an energizing welcome from Mexico City, setting the tone for the hybrid format and the global audience tuning in. Meshell R. Baker followed with her "How to Wow" session — a high-energy ice-breaker that shifted both the room and the virtual audience into an engaged, intentional mindset and set up the speakers and panelists carrying conversations through the day.
The agenda spanned electrification case studies across Mexico, talent strategy and career growth, allyship and access, and Dr. Tiffany Hamilton's interactive session "Not Here by Accident: Claiming Space, Legacy, and Leadership." Even through the stream, the energy was unmistakable — an active chat, a full room, and an impressive mix of women and allies from across the global automotive sector.
It was a full day of perspective, strategy, and connection — and a reminder of how much momentum is building around women's leadership in the Mexican and Latin American automotive markets.
